“I am very grateful that my participation in the Youth Entrepreneurship Education program has been able to improve my level of confidence to solve the challenges.”

Dressing-up is Tine’s passion and this has driven her to establish ‘Tine Salon’. This salon, located in South Jayapura, offers a variety of hair, face and body care services, as well as clothes rental. At the beginning, Tine found it difficult to separate personal finances and business finances, and also find employees who have the same standards as her. However, Tine was very grateful that her participation in the Youth Entrepreneurship Education program has been able to improve her level of confidence to solve these challenges. The training and mentoring sessions helped her in developing her successful business.

As a result of the knowledge gained in the financial literacy workshop, Tine decided to have two separate bank accounts for personal and business use. This strategy helped her to track the finances generated by her business. Tine, as a result of additional training,  learned to make a standard operating procedure to ensure that her employees have the same service standards. Another result of the training was the optimization of social media in the promotion of her business. Feeds on her Instagram are coordinated with her business regime and aid in strengthening her brand. In addition, Tine began to use a well-known endorser in Jayapura, namely Hermin Rachel Makanuay, Finalist of the Miss Indonesia 2020 from Papua to promote her business operation.
