Feb 10, 2015 – During the week of 9 February PJI had the pleasure of hosting University Student Volunteers involved in JA Korea’s volunteering program. During their time in Jakarta the students experienced Indonesian culture and spent a busy day together with the young people of Himmata Orphange in a flooded North Jakarta. The day saw a cultural interaction including percussion and traditional dance performances from Himmata and Korean language and K-Pop lessons from our Korean friends. This busy day was supported by Hanwha Life Insurance and the company’s volunteers. Students from Himmata had a great experience – one they will remember for a long time.
