Oct 26, 2016 – An enthusiastic group of Bank Ekonomi volunteers worked with students from SMAN 1 in Samarinda and SMKN 1 in Balikpapan on the 20 and 21 October. The volunteers engaged students in the JA personal Finance program and emphasised the importance of budgeting, understanding investment opportunities and awareness of risk. Using their knowledge and experience the volunteers enthusiastically set about supporting student learning though the implementation of engaging learning tools and strategies. In fact the 60 students from SMKN 1 Balikpapan were almost all 18 year old males and they respectfully listened to, and learnt from, six young female Bank Ekonomi personnel.
