Jan 27, 2017 – Driving past Taman Mataram Park yesterday we were pleased to see a group of young people having a lot of fun playing the financial literacy activities in the park. In their own time, after school, they decided to participate in the budgeting activity as teams and their competitive natures came to the fore – no one wanted to become bankrupt! It was great to see this simple application of financial literacy being used to good effect. Everyone was having a lot of fun and learning while doing so. The students were 17 years old and studied at a nearby vocational school.
