FWD Insurance and PJI Continue JA SparktheDream in 2025

Feb 12, 2025 – PT FWD Insurance Indonesia and Prestasi Junior Indonesia officially commence the third-year implementation of JA SparktheDream, reinforcing their commitment to improving financial literacy among young people. This sustainable financial education program aims to reach 2,000 junior high school students across Indonesia this year. Since its inception in 2023, JA SparktheDream has benefited over 3,700 students with the support of hundreds of dedicated volunteers. In 2025, the program will expand its reach to more regions, including Jakarta, South Tangerang, Depok, Bandung, Cimahi, Surabaya, and Sidoarjo, while also extending to new areas such as Bogor, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Semarang.

The JA SparktheDream Kick-Off, held on February 12, 2025, at SMPN 6 Depok, marked the beginning of this year’s program implementation. The event featured classroom learning sessions for students and a financial seminar for parents. These sessions are designed to create a strong foundation for financial literacy, benefiting both students and their families.

The event aimed to provide elementary school students with basic financial knowledge, including the importance of saving, money management, and making wise financial decisions. It also supported parents in financial education by equipping them with the knowledge to guide their children in managing finances responsibly and utilizing financial technology wisely. Furthermore, the program delivered engaging and interactive classroom experiences to enhance student participation and understanding of financial concepts. By instilling key financial literacy values, the initiative seeks to foster positive financial habits that serve as a foundation for lifelong financial well-being. Additionally, it strengthened parent-child collaboration in financial management through discussions and shared learning experiences.

During the parent-student seminar, financial expert Aliyah Natasya, CEO and Founder of DNA Finance, introduced a practical financial literacy guide for families in the digital era. This guide serves as a resource to help families manage their finances intelligently and securely using digital financial tools. The seminar provided insights into the importance of family financial literacy in the digital era and discussed the benefits and challenges of utilizing financial technology in household financial management. It also aimed to strengthen families’ ability to make informed and secure financial decisions.

By continuously innovating and expanding its reach, JA SparktheDream remains steadfast in its mission to empower the next generation with the knowledge and skills to manage their finances wisely and contribute positively to society.
