May 7, 2025 – Prestasi Junior Indonesia (PJI), in collaboration with Z Zurich Foundation, Zurich Indonesia, and the MUFG Group, hosted a Financial Literacy and Leadership Mentoring Session at SMAN 8 Jakarta. The event welcomed more than 200 students from five high schools and vocational schools in Jakarta participating in the Zurich Entrepreneurship Program (ZEP): SMAN 8 Jakarta, SMKN 57 Jakarta, SMAN 21 Jakarta, SMAN 34 Jakarta, and SMK Al Hidayah 1 Jakarta.
The session was graced by the presence of Mr. Gregory Renand, Head of Z Zurich Foundation, alongside senior leaders from Zurich Indonesia and MUFG Group’s financial ecosystem: Heriyanto Agung Putra (Vice President Director, Zurich Indonesia), Sylvia Lazuarni (Chief Financial and Operations Officer, PT Home Credit Indonesia), and Abdul Hadi (Sustainability Finance Head, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk). Their participation brought incredible value as students gained first-hand insights into entrepreneurship, leadership, and financial literacy.
Throughout the interactive mentoring sessions, students explored a wide range of topics, including business trends, leadership foundations, smart money management, and professional readiness. Guided directly by mentors from Zurich Indonesia, Z Zurich Foundation, and MUFG Group companies—including MUFG Bank, Ltd., PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk, PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk (Adira Finance), and PT Home Credit Indonesia—participants received practical knowledge designed to empower them with confidence and skills to achieve their aspirations.
Since its launch in 2022, ZEP has educated more than 9,000 students from 50 schools in 14 cities across Indonesia, including Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang Selatan, Bekasi, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Bantul, Medan, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Denpasar, and Makassar. Beyond classroom learning, the program challenges students to design and run businesses rooted in circular economy, healthy lifestyle, and climate change solutions—shaping a generation that is adaptable, socially conscious, and ready to lead.
Through this financial literacy and mentoring activity, the Zurich Entrepreneurship Program continues to bring together entrepreneurship, workforce readiness, and financial education—three essential pillars in preparing Indonesia’s youth to become future-ready leaders and agents of change.
